What is Storelocal Protection?

Storelocal Protection is a tenant protection program offered by the storage facility to fulfill the coverage requirement outlined in the rental agreement. Protection is not insurance. While coverage for stored items may be required by your storage facility, participation in this particular protection plan is not mandatory to rent a unit. If you wish to use storage, homeowners or renters insurance instead, you may do so by providing your insurance declaration page listing your name, valid coverage dates, and proof that offsite storage is covered to facility management at the time of rental. It is your responsibility to provide an updated insurance declaration page prior to policy expiration.

How it works

Storelocal Protection will pay the current replacement value of your damaged or stolen goods up to your policy limit. Any item NOT listed as an exclusion in the protection addendum is covered.
